As an Australian, Veteran owned SME, Towers Group is proud to announce that we have recently been appointed as a member of The Australian Space Agency (ASA) Space Capabilities and Services Panel. Towers is an approved supplier under the following capability requirements:
- Support staff functions for Launch Safety Officer and Investigator Roles, including but not limited to, under the Space (Launches and Returns) Act 2018.
- Safety, security and environmental analysis and advice for ongoing oversight of Australian space and high power rocket activities, including those authorised under the Space (Launches and Returns) Act 2018, or of other space or high power rocket activities impacting Australian national interests.
- Space-related technical studies and/or support, and space-related consultation and research services, including space sector, policy, market, and industry analysis.
- Space-based data and research including capabilities required to support these activities.
- Space and satellite ground systems services. For example, asset and capability life cycle services to support ground stations, satellites, antennas, and telescopes.
In addition to Towers Group’s membership to the following panels:
- all Centres of Expertise (CoEs) on the DSS Panel,
- all skillset categories under the ICT Resources Module on the ICTPA,
- the Australian Federal Police (AFP) Capability Support Services Panel,
- Australian Defence Simulation Support Services Panel
- The Digital Marketplace Panel
- the Defence Innovation, Science and Technology (DIST) Standing Offer Panel (19 of 21 available skillsets), and
- the Victorian Department of Government Services Professional Advisory Service Panel (PAS);
The ASA panel represents another opportunity for Towers to support the development of not only the Defence Sovereign Capability.
